The Hawaiian Whale Tour offers a free shuttle bus to the hotel in Waikiki to enjoy a two-hour voyage from the port of Kewalo Bason after pickup. If you don't see a whale, you can rejoin the tour for free.

Just as Hawaii's mild climate attracts tourists from all over the world, the warm and shallow sea around Hawaii's main archipelago (under 180 meters) is the humpback whale's favorite destination.



Scientists estimate that two-thirds of the humpback whales in the North Pacific visit Hawaii for mating, childbirth and childcare. Whales travel a whopping 4,830 kilometers from the Gulf of Alaska to Hawaii in less than two months.

And from December to May, they play on the coast of Hawaii and entertain everyone around them.
