The Icelandic hot spring Blue Lagoon is filled with water from a nearby geothermal power plant, and very hot water comes from the nearby land where lava flows and is used to drive electric turbines.
Steam and hot water passed through the turbine provide heat to the hot water heating system through the heat exchanger and then flow into the Blue Lagoon and the hot springs to enjoy the hot springs.

Infants and children aged 2-13 are available for free.
This shuttle service is available from 2 years of age or older.
Wheelchairs on the bus are not available.

Tickets for the Blue Lagoon must be reserved in advance. Make a reservation as early as possible just in case.
