What To Expect
As one of only three national research woodlands in Taiwan, Mt. Taiping is the perfect place for outdoor activities near Yilan. Highlights include hot spring baths at the Lenzhir Hot Springs, observation sheds to view the wildlife habitat and ecology of the woodlands, and a nature walk around the unspoiled virgin forest. There are walking and hiking routes throughout the national park offering marvellous views of snow-capped mountains backed by a sea of clouds.

9:00am hotel pick up or meet up at train station
11:30am Taipingshan National Forest Recreation Area
1:00pm lunch
2:30pm depart for Jioujhihze Hot Spring
3:00pm arrive at Jioujhihze Hot Spring
5:00pm hotel or train station drop off

Infant ticket: Age 0-2
There is an extra charge of NT3000/per group if you require an English speaking guide. Please pay the guide directly on the day of the tour
During the winter (1 December 2017-28 February 2018), this tour begins at 8:00am and ends at 4:00pm due to weather conditions
During Chinese New Year (28 Jan-1 Feb 2017) there will be an extra 10% service fee



How To Use
You can present either a printed or an electronic voucher for this activity
The voucher is valid only on the tour date and time specified
Meet up time: 9:00am (from 3/1 to 11/30); 8:00am (from 12/1 to 2/28)
Meet up point: hotels in Yilan or a train station (Jiaoxi Station, Yilan Station, Luodong Station or Yilan Transfer Station)
If you require hotel pick up, please leave your hotel details at checkout- Please bring a swimming suit if you want to use the Jioujhihze open air hot spring
